Ingredients
- 3 ears corn, cut in thirds, husks on
- 1.5 quarts water
- 0.5 tbsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lb turbinado sugar
Method
- 1Boil the corn with the salt and water, add the bay leaf and simmer thirty minutes. Cut the kernels off the cobs, strain the stock and blend the kernels with it until smooth. Return to low heat, dissolve the sugar, strain and cool.
